If you’re looking to explore one of Montreal’s museums you can now do so for free with the “Borrow a Museum” program.
Montreal’s 45 libraries and the Bibliothèque et Archives Nationales du Québec (BanQ) are offering members the chance to borrow a pass allowing them free entrance to the Montreal Museum Fine Arts and the Centre d’histoire de Montréal.
Empruntez un laissez-passer pour un musée à la #GrandeBibliothèque! C’est aussi simple que l’emprunt d’un livre ➡ https://t.co/qp0wRoC1bc https://t.co/yxUbEm8sAW

The pass works in the same way one would borrow a library book.
Those with a valid library card can check out the pass for three weeks and visit the museum as many times as they would like before returning it.
Patrons can only borrow one pass at a time, the loan cannot be renewed, and late fees apply if the pass is not returned on time.
For more information and to reserve a pass, visit the BanQ website.
