The 40th edition of the Montreal International Jazz Festival is ready to enter its second week.
The world’s biggest jazz music festival kicked off a slew of outdoor and indoor concerts on June 26 and will have played over 150 shows, featuring more than 1,000 artists, when all is said and done on July 6.
The festival takes place at over 20 separate venues, both indoor and outdoor, located around the Quartier des Spectacles, and is expected to welcome more than two million spectators.

For its 40th anniversary, Jazz Fest also expanded into Verdun this summer for the first time ever.
