The Quartier des Spectacles is about to welcome the Inception of events: a festival within a festival.
While JFL will aim to keep you laughing throughout July, Bouffons will try to keep the city’s stomachs happy and full.
- 'Starbucks Delivers' is officially launching across Canada this summer
- Krispy Kreme is offering a dozen doughnuts for $1 July 19
- Renowned chef opens fine-dining brasserie inside new Four Seasons Hotel Montreal
- A 3-day taco festival is coming to the Old Montreal on August 31
Celebrating its fifth edition, Bouffons is set up inside the Just For Laughs grounds, literally right outside of Place des Arts metro station.
The foodie village will host over 50 food trucks and vendors offering a variety of local eats, including vegetarian and vegan options, to Montrealers and tourists.
The Maisonneuve bike lane will be closed off for the fest so if you need to work off some of this grub, you’ll be reduced to travelling by foot.
Hopefully, the 35th edition of JFL gets you laughing enough to give you a little ab work out as well.
Admission to the Bouffons MTL site is free but menu items vary according to selection. The food village will be open for 11 straight days, starting this Wednesday.
When: July 17 – 28
Time: 12 pm – 11 pm
Where: Boulevard de Maisonneuve and Rue de Bleury to Rue Jeanne Mance
Price: Free admission
