It might feel like it’s been a long time coming, but we’re finally days away from the start of summer.
For the first weekend of the new season, we can expect a forecast that’s a bit all over the map, as Environment Canada is predicting a mix of both showers and sunshine.
On Friday, temperatures are going to reach a high of 28ºC, which will be accompanied by sunshine and a 60% chance of showers.
It’s going to get a bit cooler on Saturday, with a high of 23ºC expected and a 40% chance of showers.
But thankfully the weather is going to get better before it can get worse.
On Sunday, a glorious high of 29ºC is expected, which will set the pace for a sunny and hot first week of summer.
