A heavy dose of winter might be on its way to Montreal to end the week so you might want to enjoy today’s relatively mild weather.

Kafeinated Quiz
Kafein is hosting their second trivia night of the new year. The establishment has four rounds of trivia meaning four chances to win cash for the bar.
After trivia, the bar turns into a karaoke spot with DJ Wiz Kilo at 10 pm.
Shots are also three for $10 all night.

Luminothérapie
Place des Festivals is shining through the use of dominos, music and lights.
The ninth edition of Luminothérapie, Quebec’s largest temporary public art installation, is called “Effet domino” by Ingrid Ingrid. The installation features 120 giant dominos spread out across several different stations. The public is invited to play with them, each creating different music and luminous effects in the process.
The dominos are all topple-able as a musical orchestra of dominos illuminate in a rainbow of pastel hues and sounds.

Dr. Mario Tournament
Time to put your money where your mouth is. Or, where your fingers are.

Paint Nite at McLean’s Pub
Cozy up to a pint and some paint.
McLean’s Pub is inviting guests to come to their inaugural ‘Paint Nite’ where painters of any skill set are invited to join in.
The $5 admission includes a free drink (beer or sangria) and materials are provided for all painters.

McKibbin’s Irish Pub Hooley Night
McKibbin’s Irish Pub is hosting their “Hooley Night” tonight on the third-floor dance club. Ladies pay $10 at the door, gentlemen pay $25 and then it’s an open bar, all you can drink. That includes Moosehead beer, vodka, gin, rum, rye and whiskey as part of the special. There is a dance floor, DJ and a whole lot of people who want a little midweek getaway.
