Classic The Simpsons Trivia

What: All those hours, days, and even years of watching and quoting The Simpsons might finally pay off tonight.

The Lockhart is hosting a The Simpsons trivia night tonight, focusing on classic episodes.

The event will have three rounds and the team with the highest score at the end of the night will receive a $100 gift card for The Lockhart bar.

Tickets are $10 a player and teams are asked to be formed in no more than groups of eight.

Imagine Van Gogh

What: Montreal has been coated with an exhibition of the works of Vincent Van Gogh, the Dutch post-impressionist painter who is among the most famous figures in the history of the art world.

The exhibition, Imagine Van Gogh, which opened last month, takes guests through the world of colours and emotions of Van Gogh’s works through gigantic murals and an immersive soundtrack.

McKibbin’s Irish Pub Hooley Night

What: McKibbin’s Irish Pub hosts their “Hooley Night” tonight on their third-floor dance club.

Ladies pay $10 at the door, gentlemen pay $25 and then it’s an open bar, all you can drink.

The deal includes  Moosehead beer, vodka, gin, rum, rye, and whiskey. There’s a dance floor and a DJ and the night usually tends to get pretty busy.

If you’re looking for a midweek drinking and dancing getaway, it’s tough to beat McKibbin’s on Wednesdays.

GrĂ©vin MontrĂ©al – Chocolats Favoris

It’s not exactly Willy Wonka’s chocolate factory, but it’ll have to do.

Grévin Montreal is hosting a chocolate museum all winter, offering guests tastings, workshops, and the delicious history of everything cocoa.

The choco-museum is in association with Chocolats Favoris, a Quebec-based chocolate maker.

The museum is found within the well-known wax museum. Wax and chocolate? Nice mix.

Journey to Space

What: How do astronauts do it? We know where they do it but like, how do they wash up at the end of shift? How do they get into and out of those bulky suits?

Embark on Journey to Space at the Montreal Science Center and learn all about the day-to-day lives of astronauts in a new interactive exhibition filled with experiences that are — you guessed it — out of this world.
