McKibbin’s Irish Pub Hooley Night

McKibbin’s Irish Pub hosts their ‘Hooley Night’ tonight on the third floor.

Ladies pay $10 at the door, gentlemen pay $25 and then it’s an open bar, all you can drink. The bar offers Moosehead beer, vodka, gin, rum, rye and whiskey as part of the special. The third floor features a dance floor and a DJ.

If you’re looking to dance and drink on a Wednesday night, it’s tough to find a better deal than McKibbin’s. Get there nice and early to beat the line.

Witty Wednesday #4

Just For Laughs may be over, but a solid lineup of local comics will be appearing at The Diving Bell tonight.

The fourth edition of Witty Wednesdays features a slew of very funny local comedians: Amanda McQueen, Daniel Carin, Jacob Meza, Michelle Dominique, Kate Hammer, and Troy Stark, along with host Elspeth Wright.

Tonga Lumino

Mont-Tremblant wants to make sure you have giant plans today. Literally.

The renowned ski mountain has transformed into an enchanted hiking trail where participants embark on a quest to find the last sleeping giant of its kind.

The adventure, Tonga Lumina, is produced by Moment Factory, the same company known for their illuminations of the Jacques-Cartier Bridge.

This summer’s Mont-Tremblant trail will be illuminated with light projections and mythical storytelling as giant-seekers must trek through a 1.5 km nocturnal hike to find the slumbering giant.
