Montreal prepares to wrap up the 15th edition of Fetish Weekend, which kicked off on Friday.

Described as a “fantasy-filled experience unlike anything else in the world,” Montreal’s Fetish Weekend (MFW) promises to be anything but boring.

“The festival is Canada’s largest international fetish gathering,” reads the event’s Facebook page. “It is set in the world’s fetish-friendliest city. A grand celebration of alternate lifestyle. An urban fetish happening unlike anything else in the world. You are the star!”

Located in the heart of the Gay Village, Fetish Weekend will comprise of fantasy-themed events, play scenes, demos, workshops, and a fetish photo walk.

World Press Photo Exposition

The World Press Photo exhibition started its month-long run in Montreal this week.

The worldwide tour showcases the stories that matter through photography.

The 2019 exhibition features the World Press Photo of the Year, and for the first time, the World Press Photo Story of the Year. The winners were chosen by an independent jury that reviewed more than 78,801 photographs entered by 4,738 photographers from 129 countries.

Scotiabank Cheapie Tuesday Movie Night

Scotiabank offers $7 general admission tickets every Tuesday at their downtown location.

It’s a great week for movies as you can check out The Lion King, Spider-Man: Far From Home, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, Crawl, Stuber, Aladdin, Good Boys, and plenty others for real cheap tonight.

They also have deals on snack combos. Can you honestly say no to that popcorn smell?

Honey Martin Trivia

Honey Martin is a cozy Irish Pub in NDG that hosts arguably the busiest pub trivia in town. They do six rounds of ten questions. A winner is rewarded each round with either a round of drinks or a round of shots. A round for a round – solid deal.

The questions are all general knowledge and the trivia host is interactive and funny. Buy him a shot and he’ll go easy on you.

You might need all the help you can get, there’s usually a bunch of teams.

PY1 – Through the Echoes

The first-of-its-kind pyramid-shaped entertainment venue, PY1, created by Cirque du Soleil founder Guy Laliberté opened to the public this month and will continue its strong showing this weekend as well.

The innovative venue will offer a multi-sensory experience, state-of-the-art technology and “a unique playground” for multimedia entertainment combining high tech with the talent of the greatest digital creators.

The PY1 experience is slated to make its worldwide debut with Through the Echoes, a show produced exclusively for the pyramid, on June 1, located near the Clock Tower grounds in the Old Port.
