André Rieu

André Rieu is a Dutch violinist and conductor best known for creating the waltz-playing Johann Strauss Orchestra. They’ll be gracing the Bell Centre with their presence tonight in a magic evening of classical music.

Astronomy on Tap

Organized by AstroMcGill and iREx (the Institute for research on exoplanets), Astronomy on Tap consists of accessible, short and engaging astronomy related presentations by local researchers on a variety of mind-blowing topics that are actually out of this world.

Ranging from planets to black holes to galaxies to the beginning of the universe, it is the perfect occasion to discuss astronomy, play games and win prizes. Plus, beer.

Galerie MX

Founded in 2006, the specific mandate of Galerie MX is to seek out and give greater public exposure to emerging contemporary artists, from Canada and abroad.

The gallery’s current exhibition is pop culture contemporary art.

Honey Martin Trivia

Honey Martin is a cozy Irish Pub in NDG that hosts arguably the best pub trivia in town. They do six rounds of ten questions. A winner is rewarded each round with either a round of drinks or a round of shots. A round for a round – solid deal. The questions are all general knowledge and the trivia host is interactive and funny. Buy him a shot and he’ll go easy on you.

Newbie Tuesdays at the Comedy Nest

Get some laughs into you by checking out Newbie Tuesday at the renowned Comedy Nest. Or, maybe you want to even get on stage and sling some jokes yourself.

Regardless, the Comedy Nest hosts a very funny open mic night tonight. The headliners and hosts are veteran comics, often retooling old material or trying out new stuff.

Plus, the newbies are pretty great as well.
