5 things to do in Montreal today: Tuesday, October 25

Oct 25 2016, 7:38 pm

From Björk DJing to a  haunted yard full of swamp monsters, werewolves, and ghosts, here is everything you need on your social calendar today.

La Sélection de Björk – RBMA Montréal

What: As part of Red Bull Music Academy Montréal, Björk will translate her idiosyncratic approach to create a different sort of immersive experience, DJing all night long on back-to-back nights on October 25th and 26th. A DJ set from Björk is as much education as it is celebration – expect the collision of music you have never heard before and might never hear again, merging abrasive electronics with the singular vocals of artists from around the world. One thing is for sure: You’ll leave the party thinking even more than ever that there is no one quite like Björk.
When: October 25 to October 27
Where: Cirque Éloize, 417, rue Berri, Montreal

Brazilian Film Festival

What: The 10th edition of the Brazil Film Festival of Montreal will take place at Cinéma du Parc until October 27th. On screen, Brazil is often depicted as a dynamic country wide in terms of cultural diversity. Here is a great festival for those who love day-to-day dramas, screwball comedies and unexpected romance.
When: Until October 27
Where: Cinema du Parc, 3575 Av du Parc
