Funny tweet compares Montreal construction cones to animals in the wild
Montreal’s construction can be maddening.
But, with the right dash of humour, it can also be very entertaining.
Marc Dumont, a Montreal Canadiens and Laval Rocket sports analyst for The Athletic, shared a picture of a collection of construction cones and decided to give the trademark Montreal sight a fun little spin.

Dumont’s tweet reads like a nature documentary saying the “clutch of baby cones” are soon ready to find “their own stretch of road to call home.”
This is a very special moment.
After an 11-month gestation period, Montreal traffic cones give birth to a clutch of baby cones.
The baby cones won’t stay in the nest long before looking for their own stretch of road to call home.

Montreal, we may never beat the construction cone infestation, so we might as well laugh at it. Locals were quick to react to Dumont’s construction cone tale playing into his nature doc comparison.
Tbh that’s the voice I use all the time. It makes everything better.
