19 pics from the first week of Montreal's butterfly exhibition (PHOTOS)

The Montreal Botanical Garden will be boasting a strong butterfly game for the next two months.

The 22nd edition of the “Butterflies Go Free” exhibition, which features thousands of multicolored butterflies, kicked off last week and Instagram has been floating buzzing with gorgeous pictures.

The exhibition takes place in an exceptionally lush, natural setting inside a tropical oasis at the Botanical Garden.

It’s a great excuse to sneak away from the snowy and icy winter, not to mention some vibrant photo opportunities.

The festival has fixed-time tickets but(terfly), reservations can be made online.
