As if toppling over giant dominos isn’t fun enough, the ninth edition of Luminothérapie has incorporated synchronized lights and music in the art display to bring in some maximum nostalgic fun.

Set up at Place des Festivals, every set of dominos features a different sound profile, ranging from vocals, percussion, marimba, balafon and flute. Guests can even DJ the dominos by “scratching” and spinning it at different speeds.

DJ Noël has a pretty good ring to it, wouldn’t you say?

Luminothérapie, Quebec’s largest temporary public art installation, is called “Effet domino” by Ingrid Ingrid. The installation features 120 giant dominos spread out across several different stations.

The public is invited to play with them, each creating different music and luminous effects in efforts to “spur creativity in the design of urban installations and digital art,” according to the website.

The immersive, musical and luminous dominos are on display now and will stand tall until January 27, 2019.

But the following pictures and videos might make you show up to the pretty site sooner, rather than later.
