The second edition of Le Duckfest is on its way back to Montreal this week. Organized by Restomania, the foie gras festival will feature gourmet duck meals at participating Montreal restaurants.

Considered one of the priciest foods on the market, this dish made from the liver of fattened ducks, usually sells at $50 a pound, each restaurant will offer an entree of duck or foie gras with an alcoholic beverage for just $10.

As controversial as the dish may be, Montrealers love their foie gras and local spots know how to cook up some flavourful duck plates.
