This is the last weekend of the 2018-19 campaign to cozy up in Old Montreal and watch free fireworks.

If you missed out on last week’s New Year’s Eve show or you want to relive some of the magic, this Saturday’s clear skies and mild temperatures will make for primetime fireworks-watching weather.

The fireworks display is free to attend but access to the rink has varying costs. For skaters aged 12 years and older the cost will be $6.95, while skaters aged six to 12 years will pay $4.60 and mini-gliders under the age of six can skate for free.

An $18 discount will also be available for family-sized groups of skaters.

La Grande Roue de Montreal might also be the perfect vantage point to take in the show and a great spot to nab some Instagram pics.

Student, youth and senior tickets cost $14.79, adult tickets go for $25 and kids can ride the wheel for $13.05. La Grande Roue, Canada’s largest observation wheel and a picturesque view of the city, is open from 10 am to 11 pm on Saturday.
