19 pictures from the opening weekend of Montreal's magical Gardens of Light festival

Montreal’s magical Gardens of Light festival returned to the Botanical Gardens this weekend where it will continue to light up nightly until October 31.

Three cultural gardens, the Chinese, Japanese, and First Nations Gardens are lit up to showcase nature from different perspectives.

The lantern festival is immensely popular with both tourists and locals and is the perfect spot to nab some gorgeous photos.
