Spell it donuts, doughnuts, or des beignes, it doesn’t matter when they’re free.
It’s too exciting to worry about the spelling when free donuts are involved.
On Friday, July 16, Old Montreal’s newest cafe, 49th Parallel Montreal, will be serving up free donuts to signify its opening day.

49th Parallel is a Vancouver-based cafe that focuses on sustainably sourced coffee. The coffee shop has four locations across British Columbia and this week’s opening will signify the shop’s first non-BC location.
And it’s celebrating in the best way possible: FREE DONUTS.

The donut-palooza will take place on Friday from 10 am to 2 pm and the new shop will be giving every customer the chain’s Beignes Lucky donuts, so have at it.
The direct trade coffee shop says every one of its coffee beans come “from a farm, and we want to provide the most direct link between our customers and that source.”
So a coffee along with your free donut might not be a bad way to cap off the workweek.
