Montreal is booming in the summer.
No offence to La Ronde, but sometimes it’s nice to have an alternative from the constant buzz of the big city.
Complexe Atlantide is a huge amusement park fused with water slides, mini putt, a wave pool and animals located in Saint-Calixte, an hour outside of Montreal.

Families are encouraged to spend a few days on site as the park is found in the middle of Quebec’s largest campground.
Complexe Atlantide also hosts a petting zoo, a haunted house, a variety of restaurants, and an ice cream parlour. You can’t really call yourself a family oriented park until you have an ice cream parlour on site.
The park’s Magical Castle hosts performances, bands, and a dining hall.
The amusement park’s rates vary depending on whether your family plans to visit the water park and the campground, or just the campground.
Camping ranges from $80 – $120 based on the number of family members and $195 to $234 per day, if you want the full Complexe Atlantide experience.
