It looks like Montreal’s roads will undergo some serious improvements, which could mean even more construction in the city.
The City of Montreal announced its $6.38-billion capital-works budget for 2018-2020 today. The budget outlines how much money will be spent on major infrastructure projects over the next three years.

A majority of the budget ($4,117 billion) will be spent on improving the city’s water supply and sewer systems. Over $2 billion will be allocated towards the city’s road infrastructure.
“Although this is a transition program, we are proud of the choices we have made: we have questioned many decisions made by the former administration and set new priorities according to our values,” said Plante on Twitter.
