Carey Price now has a fan for life.

The Canadiens goaltender had a rare night off during Montreal’s game in Los Angeles on Wednesday, and it just happened that an eight-year-old Price superfan was sitting in the front row.

With some help from the trainer, Price autographed the jersey for the youngster, who was in town from Alberta.

His family caught the exchange on video.

His father, Steve Pugh was very appreciative, thanking Price and the Canadiens on Twitter.

“Thank you so much @CP0031 @CanadiensMTL for putting a huge smile on the face of this 8 yr old Goaltender from Irvine, Alberta,” he wrote.

As if that wasn’t enough, the family also walked out with a souvenir courtesy of Habs forward Charles Hudon.
