VV’s Beef Wellington poutine took home the honours, dressing their french fries with a steak brisket, mushrooms, a red wine peppercorn gravy, onions and of course, cheese curds.
VV topped off their poutine, and this year’s people’s choice award with a puff pastry, the cherry on top (sort of).
The wine and cocktail bar which was revamped in 2016, hosts live music, DJs and billiards, and is nestled on rue de Bellechasse in Montreal’s trendy Plateau borough.
Since La Poutine Week summed up its 2019 edition last week, these pictures of the beef wellington poutine will have to tide you over until next year, when VV Tavernä defends their title.
