Stay cozy this winter by cuddling up in themed igloos at these US resorts
To quote the powerhouse Queen in the North, Sansa Stark, “Winter is here.”
As such, temperatures continue to drop, and there is only one thing that we can do: cuddle up and hunker down until it’s over.
How you choose to do so is up to you. However, instead of sitting on your couch with a million blankets, might we suggest a multi-sensory igloo?
Gurney’s Montauk and Gurney’s Newport are erecting the perfect Instagram-worthy coves with multiple themed igloos for the winter months, so you can create the toast of the posts.

Don’t worry, you will still get to cuddle up with blankets, as they will be provided in each igloo.

There will also be sweet treats as well as music and cocktail pairings specific to each igloo’s theme.
Igloo themes in Montauk include cozy Log Cabin, Roaring 20s, Astrology, Après Ski, and even Santa’s Workshop.
Themes in Newport include Tropical Oasis, Winter Wonderland, and Fortune Teller.
Instead of a rental fee, Gurney’s Resorts will charge $25 per person, which will be donated to charity.

Funds from Gurney’s Montauk will be given to the Make-A-Wish Foundation, whereas Big Brothers, Big Sisters of Rhode Island, will receive the money raised by Gurney’s Newport.
The igloos will be available until March 1, 2020, at the Montauk Resort and February 29, 2020, at Newport.
However, guests are required to make a reservation in advance via each hotel’s respective website.
