Culinary tour company Cheese Journeys is providing a unique combination of culture, class, and lavish travel to guests who are passionate about these three delicacies.

For 11 luxurious days — September 24 to October 4, 2020 — guests will taste their way across a multitude of world-renowned artisan products as they journey through Amsterdam, Bruges, Brussels, and Antwerp.

Travellers will meet in the stunning capital of the Netherlands and then proceed to the beautiful countryside north of Amsterdam to Beemster Dairy.

A UNESCO World Heritage Site, their cows, graze upon the Breemster Polder, “producing some of the finest milk in the world which Beemster Dairy uses to handcraft the most flavorful Goudas and other cheeses,” according to the official press release.

Other highlights include the Alkmaar Cheese Market and spending time with “Holland’s Julia Child of cheese: the legendary cheesemonger, affineur and exporter Betty Koster of Fromagerie L’Amuse.”

Guests will also venture to the UNESCO World Heritage City of Bruges to learn its extensive beer history and receive a behind-the-scenes tour of De Halve Maan Brewery.

Those on tour will have the opportunity to spend a day in Antwerp and visit some of Belgium’s top culinary locations, including a cheese-tasting lunch with affineur Kaasaffineurs Van Tricht, sampling chocolate from renowned chocolatier JITSK, and partaking in charcuterie and beer pairings from butcher De Laet & Van Haver.

Single occupancy cost for the tour is $10,403, while the price for double occupancy is $9,094.

The prices include accommodation for 10 nights, 11 continental breakfasts, 10 lunches, and 10 evening meals, as well as alcoholic drinks served with meals, classes, and tastings.

The expenses associated with classes and/or tours provided by guest wine and cheese experts, chefs, and hosts are also included, as is the cost of transportation from the various locations.
