The ultimate list of the best coffee shops in Vancouver

Sep 29 2018, 5:59 am

As one of Vancouver’s biggest coffee lovers, I felt it was fitting to curate a list of coffee shops that you need to go check out when you’re in need of a time-stopping cup of joe.

From Commercial Drive to Gastown to Coal Harbour, this city is stacked with stellar craft roasters and purveyors of amazing local, national, and international beans.

Please don’t tackle this list all at once – a caffeine overdose would almost definitely ensue – but be sure to check each spot off and grab a piping hot cup of coffee or espresso at these 19 awesome coffee spots in the city.

Spade

A fairly new shop in town (it opened in November 2017), Spade is slowly becoming a Commercial Drive staple. This Italian-inspired coffee shop by day, tapas and wine spot by night serves up 49th Parallel Coffee and some amazing food (Italian nachos please). Grab yourself a coffee and one of their Breakfast Sammy’s, you won’t regret it.
