Toronto’s Quantum Coffee just opened today on Granville Street and it’s already creating a ton of buzz.

The Vancouver spot, located at 455 Granville Street, is Quantum’s second location, celebrated their soft opening on October 3, where I experienced the magic that is their Poursteady machine – and now that it’s open, you can too.

This piece of technology is an example of when coffee and technology combine to make one beautiful, magical coffee apparatus – I get a tear in my eye just thinking about it.

Rather than free pouring for a pour over, all the barista has to do is put in the coffee grounds in the dripper, take a step back, and let the machine do the rest. This is a sight to behold.

Quantum offers a selection of single-origin beans from around the world. I was able to try their Kenyan roast as well as their Ethiopian roast. Both were full of flavour, rich notes and you knew even before you drank the coffee that it would be an amazing cup of coffee.

The flagship store opened in Toronto’s Downtown a 460 King Street West in the winter of 2016 with a key goal in mind: to create a destination for people to connect and share ideas while enjoying high quality coffee.

Well, clearly they’ve succeeded in Ontario, and they’re aiming for west coast success now.

If you’re thinking about grabbing a coffee on your break from work, school or whatever else you spend your day doing, go down Granville and check out Quantum (and their sandwiches and baked goods), you won’t be disappointed.
