Edmonton Police Service is seeking witnesses and dash-cam footage in a shooting that took place in southwest Edmonton at the end of March.

“Between 9:30 pm and 9:45 pm, a shooting occurred in the parking lot of a business complex at 111 Street and Ellerslie Road SW,” said a release from EPS.

“Police received multiple calls about shots being fired in the parking lot in front of Cobbs Bread, located in the strip mall.”

According to EPS, investigators believe that there are more witnesses that have information that could help with their investigation.

Police say what led up to the shooting, and the vehicles involved in the incident, are still under investigation.

“We are asking anyone that may have witnessed this event or has any information pertaining to the events or persons involved to contact us,” said Sgt. Eric Stewart of the Firearms Investigation Unit.

“Also, if anyone has dash-cam video of the area between those times, we would like them to contact us as well.”
