Trent Frederic got married last weekend and his Edmonton Oilers teammates helped celebrate
Wedding bells were ringing for a certain Edmonton Oilers forward over the weekend.
With the offseason in full force, Oilers forward Trent Frederic officially tied the knot with longtime girlfriend Anna Frick this past Saturday. The happy couple exchanged vows in a ceremony held in Frederic’s hometown of St. Louis.
Not a lot of photos of the actual ceremony were shared to social media, but the few that were show it was well attended by some of Frederic’s Oilers teammates.
The couple snapped pics with some of his current teammates, including captain Connor McDavid and his wife Lauren, depth forward Max Jones and his wife Alexa, and defenceman Jake Walman.
Frederic initially got engaged last summer in a golf course proposal.

It wasn’t just Oilers players who were there to celebrate, but also one of Frederic’s old Boston Bruins teammates. Charlie Coyle, who now plays for the Columbus Blue Jackets, also posted a photo of himself at the wedding.
Frederic played with Coyle in Boston between 2019 and 2025.

Frederic is one of two Oilers players to get married this summer, with new Edmonton goaltender Frederik Andersen also tying the knot on the same day in a ceremony in Copenhagen.
Outside of those two, Oilers defenceman Spencer Stastney got engaged earlier in the offseason.
The 28-year-old power forward is coming off a disappointing season with the Oilers. Fresh off signing a lengthy eight-year deal last summer, the expectation was that Frederic would be able to become a productive, impactful depth forward for this Edmonton squad.
It seems as though he struggled under those expectations, posting a career-worst season that saw him score just four goals and seven points in 74 games. That dismal play led to him being a healthy scratch on a few occasions and limited him to appearing in just four of the Oilers’ six playoff games this past season.
With Frederic tying the knot and taking a major step in his personal life, it remains to be seen if he can take a similar step on the ice.
