Well-known grocery store in Edmonton closing after less than two years

A well-known speciality grocery store in Edmonton is closing this month after less than two years in business.
After close to two years as part of the Windermere community, Tesoro will be closing.
“This has been one of the most difficult decisions we’ve had to make, and it is only possible because of guests like you who made this place so special,” the store said in a post on its Instagram.
As the store winds down operations, everything in-store is 40 per cent off starting Thursday, June 18, at 10 a.m. The post added it’s best to shop early for the best selection, and come by one more time before they close. Tesoro will “remain open while supplies last.”

Tesoro will be open daily from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. starting June 18, while supplies last. The Bakery, Caffè, and Fresh Pasta Station that so many shoppers loved will be closed.
All closing sale purchases are final sale, and gift cards can be redeemed in-store during the closing sale period up until close.
It’s been a bumpy few months for grocery stores in the Edmonton area, with a downtown store shuttering after more than 30 years late last month, while L’OCA stores in Sherwood Park and Edmonton closed their doors back in March.
