Taylor Swift gets booed at the Super Bowl
Taylor Swift had fans on their feet during her latest Eras Tour, but she garnered quite a different reaction at this year’s Super Bowl.
The international pop icon is in New Orleans supporting boyfriend Travis Kelce as he and the Kansas City Chiefs look to capture their third consecutive championship. Swift was one of the biggest storylines during last year’s Super Bowl, but this time it appears that football fans weren’t too enthused about her attendance.
When she was shown on the video board within the stadium, a bevy of boos rained down from what we can only assume is an army of Philadelphia Eagles fans.

It is certainly a change in pace for a person who is probably accustomed to people cheering for her in public. Her reaction to the boos seemed to be one of confusion as she looked back and forth from fellow musician Ice Spice and laughed.
This is the second straight year that Swift has attended the big game alongside Ice Spice. Swift made headlines last season for a star-studded entourage and was even caught crushing a beer like a true fan.Ā
With Swift being such a big figure around the Chiefs due to her relationship with Kelce, it makes sense that Eagles fans are none too pleased to see her on the jumbotron. In their minds, she is probably as much an enemy in this game as Kelce or Chief’s QB Patrick Mahomes.
The booing came during the first half of the game as the Eagles opened up a demanding 17-0 lead over Swift’s Chiefs.
There is certainly some “Bad Blood” between her and Philadelphia.
