Taste of Edmonton food festival officially returns this month

Taste of Edmonton is back for another year of deliciousness, and with it comes some awesome new opportunities for your tastebuds and potentially your pocketbook too.

The annual event, the largest outdoor food festival in Canada, attracts more than 350,000 people every year.

For 2021, the Edmonton event will be held downtown at Churchill Square, where more than 50 different restaurants will participate.

It all kicks off on July 22 and runs until August 1.

Each restaurant has its own booth or food truck, and visitors can go from booth to booth trying out some of the best and most delicious dishes each restaurant has to offer.

There will also be vendors that will offer gluten-friendly, vegan, vegetarian, and dairy-free options for people to enjoy.

But food isn’t the only thing to be pumped about this year, as Taste of Edmonton is holding its first-ever 50/50 raffle with a chance to win up to $50,000.

Proceeds from the raffle will go towards festival operations. The draw date will be August 1, the final day of the festival.
