There's a space in Edmonton opening its own community-driven food hall

Feb 2 2026, 9:02 pm

There’s a new food hall opening up this spring in Edmonton.

Off of Whyte Avenue and Gateway Boulevard is Station Park, Edmonton’s first shipping container and micro-retail development. It’s been a staple in the area for a couple of years now, most notable for its occupying resident EPIC Market, which recently closed its doors.

Now, it’s home to names like DRTY Ice Cream and Cheese Louise, continuing to grow with each passing week. It’s a popular destination with some of the best food pop-ups and up-and-coming names within the city.

It’s finally gotten to a point where Station Park is opening its own food hall, this time focused on what matters most to them: the community.

“A new phase for Station Park,” reads the team’s post on Instagram. “Built for Edmonton’s finest independent chefs and local brands to shine, individually and together, in a truly shared food hall space. Community-driven. Local-first.”

Opening in the spring of this year, residents of Edmonton can expect a shared food-hall experience focusing on local brands and chefs. This will be the city’s new way to support local, with the spot putting an emphasis on community.

Although the exact opening date has not been established and no other details have been released, we will keep everyone in the loop for the next steps Station Park takes on this new venture.

Are you excited for a new food hall? We can’t wait.
