A plant-based restaurant has just opened its doors in Edmonton

There’s a new restaurant in town, and its menu is 100% vegan.

Seitan is Edmonton’s newest restaurant, offering an entirely plant-based menu filled with items like po-boys, chicken, and pizzas. The gourmet plant-based food takes local ingredients and adds mouthwatering taste without compromising any flavour.

This eatery is centrally located in the city, just off Jasper Avenue in the downtown core.

Seitans was formerly Die Pie, but this rebrand takes the business back to the downtown area and away from the brewery district.

Seitan held its grand opening on Sept. 12, and it’s open Tuesday to Sunday, from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Some of the menu items include the ever-popular po-boys, such as the oyster po-boy featuring crispy oyster mushrooms, or the spicy Korean po-boy tossed in a gochujang glaze. If that’s not your style, Seitan offers all-vegan sourdough pizza, a vegan meat-lovers pizza and a special Big Mack pizza inspired by its namesake.

At almost any time of day, you can step right into Seitans and enjoy a delicious vegan bite, without any compromise on flavour. Give them a taste next time you find yourself in the downtown core!
