This terrifying 4-day Halloween event is underway in Edmonton

Get ready for the thrill of your life at Edmonton’s annual Screamfest, which kicks off today and runs until the end of this weekend.

Taking place at Edmonton Expo Centre, Screamfest has haunted houses, Halloween-themed carnival games, heart-stopping rides and Halloween-themed entertainment, guaranteed to leave you screaming.

This year there will be six different haunted houses to experience, with themes ranging from clowns, funeral homes, zombies, and more, to spook your senses in the name of Halloween spirit.

The event will also have a number of rides and entertainment, including a “coffin-ride,” the chance to do some axe-throwing, and so much more.

If you weren’t already terrified to stop by Screamfest, there will also be two escape rooms to enter at your own risk, which according to the website, will “challenge your wits and test your sanity.”

Screamfest will also feature nightly stage entertainment by a number of performers, as well as a screen and wardrobe film exhibit featuring props and costumes used and worn in major films and television productions.
