This Edmonton-famous chicken spot is opening a new location in the city
Rob’s Original Fried Chicken, also known as Rob’s Famous, is opening a new restaurant in Edmonton.
After opening in 2024, Rob’s quickly became one of the hot spots in the city for classic fried chicken with a wide range of spice levels for everybody’s taste buds.
This past week, it announced the opening of a new location in Edmonton, and we couldn’t be more excited to see it. With its continuous rise in popularity, there’s no question this city needs another Rob’s Original.

On Sept. 1, Rob’s Original is hoping to open the doors to its new Windermere location. This, of course, is with the hopes that everything goes according to schedule.
But, just wait… this isn’t the only new location we can expect from the team.
According to Rob’s Original Instagram account’s comments, there’s a future Sherwood Park location in the works, mentioned to be “coming soon.” We’ll keep you updated on those details in the future, so just stay tuned for more.
