OpenTable's Top 100 in Canada just dropped and one Edmonton restaurant made the list

OpenTable just dropped its Top 100 Restaurants list for 2026, and out of all those chosen, only one special Edmonton spot made the list this year.
Sabor Restaurant is the sole eatery from Edmonton to make OpenTable’s Top 100 Restaurants in Canada list this year, which was released on Nov. 4. The spot was also named as one of two restaurants that made the list last year, with the other being Olia.
This list highlights some of the top restaurants around Canada, based on a number of factors, including diner reviews, ratings, reservation demand, and the percentage of five-star reviews.
Alongside Sabor, 19 other Albertan restaurants made the list, all of which are located in either the Banff or Calgary area. You can also find the full list of all 100 restaurants chosen online.

For those who aren’t familiar with Sabor, you’ll find the spot located in Edmonton’s historic Boardwalk Building downtown, just minutes away from the Ice District.
According to its website, the restaurant specializes in cuisine from Portugal and Spain, with the menu being largely seafood-forward with generous portions. The spot has been operating for nearly 20 years now, and it continues to be a go-to spot for many in the city.
Hats off to Sabor for making the list this year; Edmonton has a great spot representing the city in the Top 100.
