These three Edmonton restaurants are among the best for outdoor dining
Three Edmonton restaurants have just been named as some of the best for outdoor dining in Canada.
OpenTable has just released its annual list of Canada’s Top 100 Restaurants for Outdoor Dining in 2026, compiled by analyzing diner reviews, reservation demand, and more variables.
A total of 18 Alberta restaurants were named out of 100 across Canada, with only three being from Edmonton and the surrounding area. On its website, OpenTable has marked the dog-friendly spots with a dog icon to represent that you can bring your furry friends, and all three Edmonton spots were marked as dog-friendly.

The three restaurants within the Edmonton area that were named were Campio Brewing Co., Happy and Olive, and Pyro in Sherwood Park. Unfortunately, Pyro closed its locations when its partner, L’OCA Quality Market, closed down.

Campio Brewing Co. is a staple in Edmonton’s downtown culinary scene, complete with a beautiful patio to beat.
Campio’s team serves out dishes with unique twists, authentic Detroit-style pizza, as well as brews you’ll be needing a second glass of. Our personal favourite here has to be The Big McDavid pizza, an unstoppable force of flavour.

Happy and Olive’s patio is simply perfect; that’s all there is to say. Although we can’t speak from personal experience, it’s easy to see why everyone loves this place so much — and why it got a spot on this list.
With a relaxing vibe and a community-oriented attitude, this restaurant is happy to be “an Edmonton destination where neighbours, friends, visitors, and families can eat well and connect.”
If you’re looking for a patio spot this upcoming summer season, we can’t recommend these spots enough. So, make your reservation, and get ready for the sunshine.
