This city just outside of Edmonton has opened its first teahouse and it's absolutely adorable
There’s a new teahouse coming near Edmonton, and it happens to be Sherwood Park’s first one within its city.
The Ivy is here to cover an underrepresented part of the culinary industry in Sherwood Park: the teahouse and high tea portion. As of now, The Ivy will be Sherwood Park’s first and only teahouse, serving up a wonderful array of teas, as well as cocktails and wines for nights out.
You know what’s even more great? Everything at this teahouse is made in-house, from the bread used for sandwiches to the syrups in your cocktails. The team is just that dedicated to their craft.

The teahouse officially opened this month on May 8. For hours, it’ll be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. from Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturdays, and 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sundays.
On weekdays, this cafe will be offering a full dining service, perfect for your morning coffee, afternoon snack, or a late bite with friends. You can relax over carefully selected teas or specially crafted cocktails, all of which will be sure to help you wind down after a long day.
The atmosphere is everything you could need from a teahouse. With elegant seating and delicate decorations, it’s absolutely stunning inside.
For the menu, you can expect soups, sandwiches, charcuterie boards, and fresh pastries baked in-house.
Weekends are where the real fun begins: the high tea ceremonies. You’ll have to make reservations, but these ceremonies include tea, bite-sized sandwiches, pastries, and are the absolute perfect outing with friends, family, or any loved ones you’re looking to treat.
As for parking, there is free two-hour underground, heated parking available for guests.
If you’re looking for a high-tea ceremony a little closer to home, for those out east of Edmonton, you’ll be happy to know The Ivy is just waiting to serve you.
