The Edmonton Oilers are headed back to the Stanley Cup Playoffs, but how can you get inside Rogers Place to join the fun?
The Oilers have proven in recent years that they are among the very best playoff atmospheres in the entire NHL. Fans for the team always bring the passion, which makes for an unforgettable postseason experience inside the arena.
With the Stanley Cup Playoffs set to start on Saturday, Oilers playoff tickets are about to become a hot commodity in the Alberta capital when they go on sale later this week.
The team revealed on Sunday that ticket packages will go on sale at noon on Tuesday, while individual tickets will be released at noon on Wednesday. Season ticket holders will get first crack at playoff games with early access.
Fans can set reminders for when these tickets go on sale at the Oilers website.

This will be the seventh-straight playoff appearance for the Oilers, dating back to the 2019-20 season. Each year seems to have gotten more wild for the Edmonton faithful, culminating in two straight runs to the Stanley Cup Final in 2024 and 2025.
It doesn’t appear there has been any playoff fatigue for Oilers fans, who were absolutely electric during last year’s run to the final. The fanbase made international headlines last year for embracing Chappell Roan’s “Pink Pony Club” as a playoff victory anthem.

It does appear The Bee Gees’ “Stayin’ Alive” will come in as a funky throwback replacement for Chappell Roan this time around.
Rogers Place has also become renowned for its rendition of ‘O Canada’ during playoff games. Rather than let an anthem singer do all the work, the Oilers faithful themselves chime in before each postseason contest.

On top of the in-arena atmosphere, there is also anticipation for all the stuff happening outside of the rink during this playoff run. While there has been no confirmation on the playoff watch parties quite yet, it’s expected that something will be coming down the pipe soon.
Edmonton has hosted two main free playoff watch parties over the past few seasons. The most popular has been the Tailgate Party in the ICE District Plaza (better known by fans as the ‘Moss Pit’), as well as another in the FanPark just East of Rogers Place. We will have to wait for more details on what the organization plans this time around.
