Edmonton Oilers fans may not have been in the arena for Game 2 of their postseason series against the Chicago Blackhawks on Monday, but their presence was certainly felt with a record-breaking 50/50 jackpot.

The 50/50 draw, in support of the Oilers Foundation, reached a record-high of $3 million dollars, despite ticket sales moving entirely online.

Before puck drop, the jackpot had already reached $1 million, and the number continued to climb throughout the game.

The lucky winner’s grand prize total is $1,629,722.50.

Tickets for the Oilers 50/50 can be purchased online starting at 9 am MT on game day until 10:30 pm by individuals 18 years or older located within Alberta’s provincial borders.
