West Edmonton Mall just got a new spot with made-to-order mini pancakes
Moons Sweet Lil Pancakes is going to be your new go-to dessert spot, with its first-ever location now open in West Edmonton Mall.
This women-led and family-owned business is committed to making mini pancakes with quality, heart, and “a little bit of magic.” The official store opening has been teased for a couple of weeks now, but Moons Sweet Lil Pancakes’ first location is now open to all, located right in West Edmonton Mall.

Here, you’ll find this business is known for its itty-bitty pancakes with huge flavour combinations.
You’ll be able to choose your size and build your own ultimate pancake combo. First, you choose between regular (10 pieces) and large (14 pieces), with both including three toppings.
Expect toppings like classic caramel and chocolate, with crunchy flavourings like cookies, nuts, and chocolate bites entering the mix. As the menu evolves with seasonal creations, more new toppings will enter the fray. For the exact topping list, we’d suggest calling ahead of time or simply checking the display in-person for the daily selection.
There’s also the shop’s Signature Offerings, which include The OG, Dubai Pistachio Chocolate, S’Mores, and Boreal Berry, all of which have their own unique, unforgettable flavour.
In addition to its popular pancakes, there’s also a wide selection of drinks to look through as well.
“We specialize in specialty coffee with real depth and balance, alongside a curated selection of teas and specialty drinks made for every part of your day,” reads the business’ website. “Clean flavours, thoughtful preparation, and consistency in every cup.”
From coffee to matcha to sparkling sodas, there’s a variety of options awaiting you. Something that caught our eye in particular had to be its Lavender Matcha Latte; you definitely won’t be able to get that everywhere.
As for the hours, you’ll be happy to know this one-stop shop is open every single day of the week. It’s open 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. from Monday to Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sundays. And, let’s be honest, there’s no bad time to get a bunch of mini pancakes.
