From large chains to artisanal markets, Edmonton and the surrounding area has plenty of new grocery stores in the pipeline. Now, a store focusing on locally grown produce is opening a new location just outside of the city.
H&W Produce revealed it will open its brand-new store in St. Albert and is slated to open later this year or early 2026.
The locally owned and operated Alberta company focuses on buying as much produce as possible from local farms, growers and producers. It also has weekly offers on tons of fruits and vegetables.
In addition to its locally grown produce, H&W also stocks products from around the world to offer a wide selection of fruits, vegetables, and exotic produce.
Currently, H&W Produce operates several stores across the province, including five in Edmonton, one in Calgary, and one in Sherwood Park. St. Albert will be H&W Produce’s eighth store.
