Edmonton has a swanky new cocktail bar and restaurant for mixology enthusiasts
A new cocktail bar and restaurant has emerged in Edmonton’s culinary scene.
Fennec Kitchen and Bar is a new restaurant in downtown Edmonton, serving up both lunch and dinner menus comprised of small, intricate plates. It just opened this month, having announced its anticipated arrival in November.
It’s located in the HSBC building downtown, with a gorgeous interior. With dim lighting and a stunning dining room, Fennec displays a significant amount of class and refinement.

This new restaurant comes to us from the same owners of Boxer. Here, it serves small plates with seasonal ingredients like marinated olives, salads, crudos, and more. As well as serving a beautifully crafted menu, Fennec will be serving up a lovely cocktail menu coming soon, as it says on its website.
Some of the items and dishes on the lunch menu include its Runner Duck Sandwich, with pulledduck and caramelized onion jam, and Pressed Shortrib with potato pave. The menu is subject to change, and dinner and lunch may have some overlap in dishes.
This new spot is open for lunch from Monday through Friday, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., as well as serving dinner Thursday through Saturday from 3 p.m. to late.
