Exciting news, Edmonton! An old favourite pub is making its return this month.

Druid Irish Pub will be coming back to Edmonton inside the Mercer Building downtown after leaving its Jasper Avenue location in 2016 due to building issues. This return marks a huge day for Edmonton, as folks are ready to see an old fan favourite pub spot come back to the city.

“Edmonton’s favourite Irish pub is back. Same heart, refreshed space and the right vibe,” says its website.

It will be opening its doors on Dec. 18.

Having the location in the Mercer Warehouse in downtown Edmonton, where the parties are loud and the drinks are flowing, was the best decision. Here, the Druid will be hosting weekend DJs, live sessions, and big-game parties, as well as serving Guinness-friendly bites, sharables for the table, and late-night fuel.

As for hours, on Mondays it will open two hours before arena events, Tuesday through Friday will be open 3 p.m. to 2 a.m., and Saturdays and Sundays will have 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. opening hours.
