There's a family-friendly skate happening at Rogers Place this weekend

Nov 20 2019, 8:16 pm

Lace up your skates and hit the ice this weekend at Rogers Place — home of the Oil Kings and Oilers — all in the name of charity.

The City of Edmonton is hosting the family-friendly Skate for United Way event at Rogers Place in support of the United Way.

Bring a friend or the whole family and enjoy fun activities like glitter tattoos with the Sparkle Fairies, a GIF photo booth, popcorn, and so much more. This is a one-of-a-kind experience to skate along the same ice as some of your favourite star hockey players.

Tickets are $16 per person for a one-hour skate, and $8 per person for non-skaters.

Tickets for the event are available online.

If you’re unable to attend, you can check out a list of places to ice skate in Edmonton here.
