If you’ve ever wanted to get completely immersed in a winter wonderland that looks like it’s straight out of a Disney movie — then we have good news for you.

Ice Castles Alberta is a massive and intricately sculpted ice castle made up of hundreds of thousands of icicles hand-placed by professional ice artists, and it’s coming to Edmonton this winter!

The castle includes breathtaking LED-lit sculptures, frozen thrones, ice-carved tunnels, slides, fountains, and so much more.

The stunning attraction will be located at Hawrelak Park in Edmonton, with several parking spots available on a first-come first-served basis. The largest parking lot is right next to the castle, and the others are within walking distance.

Opening dates are usually weather dependent, but historically the castle opens around the last week in December or the first week in January.

Be prepared to have your breath taken away, and don’t forget to bundle up.
