After a chilly Thanksgiving long weekend, the forecast for Edmonton is looking balmy, with a chance of nearly doubling our average daytime high later in the week.
Looking at the forecast from Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC) for Edmonton issued Tuesday morning, we’re clear of the threat of snow like this past weekend and any precipitation in general, with plenty of sunshine on deck.
Friday, Oct. 16 and Saturday, Oct. 17 look particularly toasty, with a high of 20°C and 16°C, respectively.
According to ECCC, the average daytime high for this time of year in Edmonton is 11°C, while the average low is 0°C, making Friday’s daytime high nearly double the average for this time of year. Edmontonians better get out and enjoy it while it lasts.
