There is truly no better place to experience fall in Edmonton than Garneau. With its charming shops and restaurants, leafy boulevards, and collection of beautiful homes and historic buildings on the University of Alberta campus, the neighbourhood has major academic vibes and an energy that makes it easy to get into the spirit of the season.
Highlands

Highlands is a charming community nestled on the river’s north bank. The neighbourhood is filled with historic buildings and homes, including the Magrath Mansion. While the mature trees lining the streets give it an extra cozy feel, there are several local restaurants and shops in the area worth checking out, including Kind Ice Cream, Fox Burger, Highlands Liquor and Bodega.
