This map tells you how many trick-or-treaters to expect in each Edmonton neighbourhood

If you aren’t sure how many trick-or-treaters to expect on Halloween night, this interactive map paints a pretty clear picture.

The map shows how much candy you should stock depending on which neighbourhood you live in in Edmonton, based on the Canadian census from 2016.

It works by mapping out how many children of trick-or-treat age (ages 3 through 14) live in your area, and the darker the colour, the more children you should expect.

While the chilly Halloween weather might scare away some trick-or-treaters, at least it’s not enough to postpone Halloween altogether.
