Edmonton Transit Service further reduces transit hours

Edmonton Transit Service is encouraging passengers to only travel if essential amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

ETS has further reduced service hours in an effort to provide service only where required.

As of Monday, April 20, the last LRT service departure is now 10 pm, and Late Night Owl bus service ends after midnight.

All other routes are following either an enhanced Saturday schedule or regular Saturday schedule, with added service during peak hours.

According to ETS, “these adjustments better align with the travel needs of those customers making essential trips, while helping to further address safety, security, public health and cleanliness challenges.”

In addition, some waiting areas in select LRT Stations, such as Kingsway, NAIT, and MacEwan, and Transit Centres such as Capilano, Castle Downs, Government Centre, Jasper Place, the stop outside the Telus building on Jasper Avenue and 100 Street, are now closing at 10pm. Service is still available.

The Meadows, Leger, Belvedere, Kingsway, Claireview East, Claireview West, Lewis Farms, South Campus, Westmount, Jasper Place, Millgate, Eaux Claire, Northgate, Southgate, West Edmonton Mall, Century Park, and Millwoods Transit Centres are now closing at midnight. Service is still available.

All other service changes can be found on the ETS website.
