Sick of the cold and snow?

Swoop is offering prices for its Edmonton to Mazatlan, Mexico, route this April, if you want to start planning a sunny getaway.

On Swoop’s website, the base fairs are $276 right now for several dates next month.

Keep in mind that $276 only includes a personal item. To bring a suitcase, you’ll need to pay $355.

That’s still a bargain compared to how much flights to Mazatlan usually cost. WestJet (which owns Swoop) flights to Mazatlan run between $500 to $700 or sometimes more than $900, depending on the time of year.

To find the deal, go to Swoop’s website and look for the $140 fares departing Edmonton and the $139 fares for the way home.
